Finnish Issue M91 Mosin Nagant Bolt Action Rifle, #0726, 7.62x54Rmm cal., 31.75'' barrel, blued finish with bright bolt assembly, finger joined hardwood stock with handguard, dovetailed blade front sight, and adjustable Konovalov rear sight with ''V''-notch, with sight bed recalibrated to 850 meters. Includes a steel cleaning rod. Hexagonal receiver is stamped with intact ''(Czarist crest)'' and ''0726''. Finnish replacement barrel is marked ''VKT/D/0726/1940'' with a boxed ''SA'' property mark stamped on the left side. Matching number on the bolt body. Other numbers do not match. Import marked on underside of the barrel. Condition overall is very good, retaining approx.75% toning finish, with wear mostly to the magazine and buttplate. Bolt assembly with a spot of pitting and cocking piece has been cleaned. Wood is fair with handling marks and darkening to the lower half. There are 2.5'' fine cracks to both sides of the toe; 1'' cracks to the front and rear of the handguard. Action operates smoothly. Bright bore rates very good with defined rifling. Est.: $400-$600.
