British Enfield No.2 Mk 1* Double Action Revolver, #A2502, .38 S&W cal., 5'' flat sided barrel, blackened finish, grooved black plastic grips with stock disc on right side, blade front sight, fixed rear sight with square-notch, and swiveling lanyard ring. Top of the barrel is marked ''CAL.38/41/(Broad Arrow)/(Crowned) proof mark''. There is a single ''*''stamp on right side of the frame. Backstrap with the number ''1'' in white paint. Bottom of the left grip with what looks like ''MA/1/57'' in white paint. Matching numbers on frame, barrel, and cylinder. London export proof stamps on right side of the barrel. Import marked on underside of the barrel. Condition overall is very good+, retaining approx. 95% black finish, showing scratches to the barrel, scattered light marks from handling and use. Grips have several tiny impressions and handling marks. Action locks up, cycles, and ejects smoothly. Bore is bright with very good, defined rifling; chambers are clean and bright. Est.: $350-$500.
