^Lot 385 Israeli Issued Webley Mk IV Double Action Revolver

Israeli Issued Webley Mk IV Double Action Revolver, with Israeli Holster and Accessories, #B47296, .38 S&W cal., 4" barrel, blued finish, black plastic grips, blade front sight, and fixed square-notched rear sight. Marked on top of barrel strap "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD/MADE IN ENGLAND", and "MARK IV .38" on left top strap. Revolver was issued to the Israeli Defense Forces and is marked on the right side barrel with their acceptance and property stamps. Plastic grips are impressed with the "WEBLEY" logo across each top. Matching numbers on frame, barrel, and cylinder. Condition overall is very good with the metal retaining over 90% finish, with toning to the grip straps and edgewear to the muzzle, cylinder, and stirrup. There is a chip missing from the right side grip, otherwise both are very good, showing mostly light wear and scratches. Action locks, cycles and extracts smoothly; bore has a spot at mid barrel, otherwise excellent with sharp well-defined rifling. Import stamped on underside of barrel. The rare Israeli flap holster is marked with a property stamp on the inside flap and is complete with its "D" ring loop and shoulder strap. There are pen markings to the flap, otherwise very good with a strong even color to the material; snaps have areas of patina, otherwise good and functional. The green British lanyard and cleaning rod are both in excellent condition. Est.: $500-$800. (C&R)
