Early Smith & Wesson Model 10-5 Double Action Only Revolver, #D52435, .38 Spl. cal., 6'' pinned barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut two-piece grips with S&W medallions, serrated ramped blade front sight, fixed square-notch rear sight, with color case hardened hammer and trigger. Mfg'd 1968. Revolver is in near fine overall condition, retaining approx 94%-95% factory finish, with wear at the muzzle and thinning along the barrel. Cylinder shows leading edgewear, wear around the flutes, and index line at the rear. Frame and straps show modest edgewear. Factory lettering is clear. Hammer and trigger display muted color case hardened finish. Grips are very good with minor marks and smoothing of the checkering. Interior of the right panel is stamped with the matching serial number and both panels are stamped ''KPC''. Action functions well and locks up securely. Bore is very good with light frosting, and well-defined rifling. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R/PPT)
