High Standard Model B Semi-Automatic Pistol, #23961, .22 LR cal., 6.75'' barrel, blue finish, checkered hard rubber two-piece grips, Patridge front and drift adjustable square-notch rear sight, with one correct unmarked two-tone 10-round blue steel magazine. Marked ''MADE IN U.S.A./THE HIGH STANDARD MFG. CO. /NEW HAVEN CONN.'' on the left barrel lug, a prior owner has etched ''L.W. PUNCHER'' at the left rear of the frame and ''L. PUNCHER'' on the front strap. Includes a period unmarked tooled leather right-hand flap holster with brass snap. Holster is in very good used condition. Mfg'd 1937. Pistol is in very good+ overall condition, retaining approx. 85%-90% thinning factory finish, with wear at the muzzle and loss of finish on the left side of the barrel. Frame and slide show moderate edgewear and scattered areas of light surface erosion. Grips are in fine condition with sharp checkering detail. Action functions well.
