Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun, #717920, 12 ga., 26'' barrel with full-length solid filed rib, blue finish; checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forend which measures 11-1/2'', with Winchester hard rubber grip cap, and solid black rubber Decelerator recoil pad; LOP is 13-1/2''. Front sight removed and replaced with a red plastic strip. Mfg'd 1935. Shotgun is in very good overall condition as refinished, retaining approx. 90%-95% of an old quality reblued finish, with wear at the muzzle, rubs and scrapes along the barrel. Receiver shows thinning finish, edgewear and old pinprick pitting under the finish. There are Winchester ''WP'' proofs on the barrel and receiver. Stock is very good with scattered indentations, scratches, and flaking finish, particularly on right side of the buttstock. Action is smooth, locking up securely; bore is bright. Est.: $400-$600.
