Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun, #1063490, 20 ga., 28'' plain barrel with 2-3/4'' chamber, bead front sight, stamped Mod but gauges IC; blue finish. Walnut smooth pistol grip stock with added 1'' vented recoil pad, forend with 14 grooves; LOP 14.75''. Top of barrel and receiver are both Winchester proofed. Mfg'd 1946. Condition is fine, approx. 90% factory blue finish remains. Receiver with high-point edgewear and other small handling marks. Barrel with thinning, mainly in the chamber area. Wood is in very good condition with intermittent surface dents and scattered light scratches; an additional coat of varnish has been added. Action functions smoothly and locks up tight.
