1st Year Production Marlin Model 70P Papoose Semi-Automatic Takedown Carbine, #14464696, .22 LR cal., 16.5'' micro-groove barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut one-piece pistol grip stock ending with a checkered plastic buttplate, providing a 13.5'' LOP, ramped blade front and standard elevator ''U''- notch rear sight, one 7-round blue steel magazine, and factory grooved receiver. Includes factory cardboard box with matching end label, instruction manual, literature, and red/black Marlin Papoose Cordura nylon boot. Also included is a Tasco 4x15 fixed power scope with fine cross hair reticle, and unmarked scope rings. Mfg'd 1986, the first year of production. Carbine is in excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 98%-99% factory finish, with minor handling marks. Stock is in excellent condition, with modest high point edgewear.
