Custom Antique Chilean Model 1895 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #A385, 7x57mm cal., 25'' military barrel, with blue finish. Smooth walnut custom one-piece pistol grip stock with exaggerated roll over cheekpiece, sling swivel studs, ending with a ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 13.5'' LOP. No sights, contoured chrome bolt with flag safety, and internal box magazine. Left side of the receiver is marked ''MANUFACTURA LOEWE BERLIN''. Visible numbers are matching. Rifle is topped with two-piece bases, rings, and a Bushnell 3-9x scope, finished in matte black, with lens covers, and a duplex reticle. Scope is in excellent condition, with clear, bright optics. Rifle is in fine overall condition as modified, retaining approx. 90% blue, showing some areas of thinning and toning. Bolt release retains strong fire blued finish. Stock with scattered moderate scuffs and indentations consistent with field use. Action functions well. Bore near excellent with well-defined rifling. Est.: $300-$500. (Antique)
