Custom Commercial Mauser Bolt Action Sporting Rifle, #Z-48480, .25-06 cal., 24'' ''Federal Firearms'' marked barrel, with blue finish. Smooth hardwood one-piece pistol grip stock with exaggerated rollover cheekpiece, sling swivel studs, and Whiteline ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 13.75'' LOP. There is no provision for sights. Contoured bolt handle in the white with matching serial number. Factory markings are clear, with a ''(horse's head)'' and an ''F'' on the barrel at the breech, for Federal Firearms. Rifle is topped with Redfield two-piece bases, rings, and a Valor 3-9x scope, with fine crosshair reticle and gloss black finish. There are light marks and wear to the exterior of the scope; optics are clear and bright. Rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining approx. 95%-96% blue, with light wear at the muzzle, and scattered light handling marks. Floorplate and trigger guard with some light scratching. Stock is in fine condition, with intermittent light indentations and several dings on the comb from the bolt. Action functions well. Bright bore rates near excellent with sharp rifling.
