DWM 1920 Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol, #9582o, .30 Luger cal., 3.75'' barrel, blued finish, straw colored small parts, checkered walnut grips, dovetailed inverted-''V'' front sight, and fixed rear sight with ''V''-notched groove. Includes one unmarked period magazine with wood base. Pistol is marked ''DWM'' on the toggle. Left side of receiver marked ''(crown)N'' and ''GERMANY''. Upper safety position is marked ''GESICHERT'', lower position is blank. Underside of the barrel with ''(crown)N'' above the serial number. All visible numbers matching; grips and firing pin are not numbered. Pistol is in fine overall condition, retaining approx. 93%-94% original blue, showing areas of light edgewear and wear to the stock lug. There is some very mild frosting visible on the front and backstrap. Factory lettering and proof marks are clear. Straw colors have worn to approx. 40%, showing general thinning and toning, scattered salt and pepper blemishes. Grips are very good displaying signs of moderate age and wear, with a small chip missing from next to the left side grip screw. Action operates smoothly, hold open functions properly. There is mild pitting scattered throughout the bore; rifling is good. Magazine body has intermittent spots of brown patina to the bright metal and a few light marks on the base. Est.: $1,000-$1,500.
