WWI 1917 Dated DWM Artillery Luger with Stock, #3528b, 9mm cal., 8'' barrel, blued finish, straw colored small parts, checkered walnut grips, dovetailed inverted-''V'' front sight, adjustable tangent rear sight with small ''V''-notched groove, and stock lug. Includes one unmarked tin plated magazine with wood base. Pistol is marked ''DWM'' on the toggle with ''1917'' date on the chamber. Right side of receiver with three ''crowned'' gothic letters and Imperial firing proof. Right side of rear sight base also with firing proof. All visible numbers matching, including the back of the left grip; right grip has ''D ROSE'' scratched into the back and there is no visible serial number. Includes an unmarked reproduction wooden flat board stock. Pistol is in near excellent overall condition as professionally restored, retaining approx. 98% reblued finish and straw colors; applied over intermittent salt and pepper pitting on the barrel. Serial numbers, maker's and proof marks are primarily crisp. Grips show moderate age and handling wear. Action and hold open function properly. Bore rates near excellent overall and is bright throughout with well-defined rifling. Magazine shows moderate age and rub wear to body, small dents and scratches to the base. Stock is in excellent condition, with a few small impressions and handling marks. There is no wear to the finish on the metal hardware. Est.: $1,800-2,400. (C&R)
