DWM 1920 Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol, #8755k, .30 Luger cal., 3.75'' barrel, blued finish, straw colored small parts, checkered walnut grips, inverted-"V" front sight, and fixed rear sight with ''V''-notched groove. Includes one tin-plated magazine, marked ''GERMANY'' on the wood base. Pistol is marked ''DWM'' on the toggle. Left side of receiver marked ''(crown)N''. Upper safety position is marked ''GESICHERT'', lower position is blank. Front of the frame, between the serial number and its letter suffix is marked ''GERMANY''. Underside of the barrel with ''(crown)N'' above the serial number. Metal parts with visible matching numbers, but the barrel has been renumbered to match; original numbers are partially visible. Back of each grip is numbered ''57''. Pistol is in fine overall condition, retaining approx. 94%-95% blue, showing areas of mild thinning and brown toning; wear to the sideplate and right rear of the frame accounts for most the finish loss. Straw colors are approx. 80%, showing thinning and toning, primarily to sides of the trigger. Factory lettering and proof marks are clear. Grips are near excellent, showing a few intermittent light handling marks and mild flattening of the checkering. Action operates smoothly, hold open functions properly. Bore rates near excellent and is bright throughout with defined rifling. Magazine body shows moderate wear and has a few light marks on the base. Est.: $1,000-$1,300. (C&R)
