British Webley WG Army Model Double Action Revolver, #17562, .455/476 cal., 6'' flat sided barrel, blued /bright finish, checkered walnut grips, silver blade front sight, fixed rear sight with ''U''-notch, and swiveling lanyard loop. Left side of the frame is marked ''WEBLEY/PATENTS/(Winged Bullet)W&S''. Left side of the barrel strap with ''WG ARMY MODEL'' and left side of the cylinder rod housing with ''455/476''. Caliber ''.476'' marked on rear of the cylinder. Top of the barrel is marked ''ARMY & NAVL C.S.L.''. Matching numbers. No import marks. Condition overall is very good, retaining approx. 75%-80%, with scattered light marks from handling and use, finish wear primarily to the front and backstrap. Bright trigger and hammer have toned dark. Grips with chips missing from the lower forward edges on both sides, showing general handling marks and wear to the checkering detail. Action locks up, cycles, and extracts smoothly. Bright bore rates excellent with well-defined rifling. There are two small dark spots visible; otherwise, the chambers are clean and bright.
