U.S. Quality Hardware Semi-Automatic M1 Carbine, #4840686, .30 Carbine cal., 18'' barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock and handguard, blade front sight with ears, and adjustable rear peep sight. Includes an unmarked blued steel 10-round magazine. Receiver is marked ''QUALITY H.M.C./4840686''. Barrel is marked ''INLAND MFG.DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/12-43'' and has a bayonet lug. Parkerized finish is very good, with light wear on the receiver, and the buttplate shows dents with rust. Low wood stock has a faint ''(crossed cannon)'' on the right near the pistol grip, and ''2 B'' in the sling well. Stock is in good condition and has scratches and dents scattered throughout, heaviest left of the receiver. Action works properly. Bore is bright throughout with sharp rifling.
