Remington-Rand U.S. Model 1911A1 National Match Semi-Automatic Pistol, #1521530, .45 ACP cal., 5'' barrel, parkerized finish, checkered walnut grips, blade front sight, and adjustable ''U''-notch rear sight. Includes on blued, 8-round Wilson Combat magazine. Rebuilt into a National Match pistol at Rock Island Arsenal circa 1968. Receiver is marked ''FJA'' (Frank J. Atwood) with a ''P'' on the left side, and ''UNITED STATES PROPETY/NO 1521530 with M1911A1 U.S. ARMY''. ''RIA'' is stamped above the trigger guard and ''NM'' is stamped on the guard right side. Slide is marked ''NM 1521530'' on the left, ''MFR 16447'' on the right, with a ''W'' on top. Adjustable Ellison rear sight is marked ''US'' and the barrel bushing is marked ''U 7267718 S''. Blued barrel is marked ''.45 AUTO/NM7791414/1521530''. Pistol is in near excellent overall condition. Parkerizing is approx. 95%, with wear at the slide stop and front of the slide. Checkered grips are near excellent, showing only light wear. Action works properly. Bore is bright with excellent rifling. Est.: $1,500-$2,500. (C&R/PPT)
