Colt U.S. Army Model 1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #808893, .45 ACP cal., 5'' barrel, parkerized finish, checkered plastic grips, blade front sight, and ''U''-notched rear sight. Includes one unmarked parkerized magazine. Made in 1942. Receiver is marked boxed ''WB'' (Waldemer S. Broberg), with a ''P'' on the left side, and ''UNITED STATES PROPERTY/No 808893 with M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY'' on the right. Slide has the patent dates to ''AUG. 19, 1913'', ''(Rampant Colt)'', and ''COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG CO./HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.'' on the left, with a ''P'' on top. Slide is numbered "1133255" under the firing pin stop. Barrel was replaced with a blued ''F P'' (Flannery) barrel. Pistol is in very good+ overall condition. Finish is approx. 80%-85%, with light handling wear mostly at the front and the barrel hood. Grips are good with light impressions on the left panel. Action works properly.
