Colt MK IV Series 70 Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol, #70G33429, .45 ACP cal., 5'' barrel, satin nickel finish, aftermarket extended slide stop and thumb safety, Wilson barrel bushing, extended guide rod, smooth aftermarket wood grips (possibly Spalted Maple), ramp front sight with red insert and aftermarket adjustable combat sight. Mfg'd 1972. Includes one factory nickel 7-round magazine and non-matching Colt woodgrain pattern box. Slide, grip safety, mainspring housing, trigger, magazine release, safety and magazine release have been polished to a bright finish. Pistol is in excellent condition as customized. Metal surfaces with light handling marks; factory lettering is clear and defined. Grips appear as new. Action is smooth, lock-up is tight. Bore is bright with well-defined rifling. Factory box is in poor condition, with water damage, and missing one end flap. Est.: $800-$1,100. (C&R)
