Weatherby Orion II Field Classic Over/Under Shotgun, #G005084. 20 ga., 28'' vent rib barrels have 3'' chambers and are threaded for choke tubes (IC and Mod fitted). The Weatherby action is a boxlock with crossbolt lockup, single selective inertia trigger, non-automatic safety, and selective ejectors. The receiver is finished in silver gray nitride, with pheasant on one side, duck on the other, and light engraving to add scroll features. The medium size forend and round knob buttstock are nice oil-finished ''B'' grade walnut, with checkering at 20 LPI and a black Weatherby recoil pad. Stock dimensions are 14-1/4'' x 1-1/4'' x 1-7/8''. Gun was Mfg'd by SKB in Japan for Weatherby in approximately 2000. Condition is like new, retaining approx. 99%+ factory blue; receiver is bright with crisp engraving. Showing little signs of handling to wood, and few actual impressions to the standing breech, which closes very tight and functions perfectly; bores are mirror bright. Est.: $1,200-$1,500. (Modern/PPT)
