Belgian Browning Grade 1 Standard Weight Superposed Over/Under Shotgun, #63953, 12 ga., 28'' vent rib barrels have 2- 3/4'' chambers and are choked Mod/Full. The boxlock action is standard Browning and features a single selective trigger and ejectors. The receiver is lightly engraved with standard Browning patterns. The slender forend and round knob long tang (RKLT) buttstock are ''A'' grade oil-finished walnut, with hand checkering at 20 LPI, and an original Browning buttplate. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2'' x 1-1/2'' x 2-1/2''. Gun is contained in an early Browning ''Tolex'' leather case, with blue velvet lining, and original paperwork. Mfg'd by FN in Belgium in 1958 for Browning. Condition is fine for a 67-year-old gun. Metal retains approx. 95% factory blue with light carry wear to the bottom and edges of the frame. The wood shows light handling marks with no large gouges but slightly worn checkering. Action is broken in but still locks up very tight and functions correctly. Bores are bright. This shotgun still has a lot of life left for upland bird hunting, and lead shot only. Est.: $1,000-$1,400. (C&R/PPT)
