Belgian Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade Over/Under Broadway Trap Shotgun, #55387S6, 12 ga., 32'' barrels have a ''Broadway'' 5/8'' wide ventilated rib with target beads, 2-3/4'' chambers, and are choked IM/Full. The superposed action is similar to previous models, with underlug lockup, single selective inertia trigger, non-automatic safety, and selective ejectors. Engraved French gray receiver; left and right side both feature two engraved pigeons in flight and are surrounded by extensive rose and scroll engraving. The beavertail forend with finger grooves and pistol grip buttstock with high trap comb are high gloss ''B'' grade walnut with extensive hand checkering at 22 LPI, very handsome engraved metal grip cap with previous owner's initials, and vented Browning recoil pad. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2'' x 1-3/8'' x 1-3/4''. Gun was completed in 1966. Shotgun is in fine condition overall. Barrels retain approx. 97% factory blue. Receiver with a few moderate marks from handling and use; engraving remains crisp. Action has retained its solid lockup and reliability, performing as designed. Buttstock has suffered from ''crazing'' to the very hard finish, particularly in the flat area adjacent the receiver; also, with scattered dings and scratches from handling mishaps. Forend with a few small dings and scratches; checkering on both the buttstock and forend remains crisp. Bores are bright.
