Perazzi MX 2008 Over/Under Shotgun Set for Target Competition, #145222. 12 ga., 29-1/2'' barrels utilize very high vent ribs with correspondingly high buttstock dimensions. The 3-1/2'' chambers accommodate the heaviest of loads, and the seven Briley choke tubes are sized from CYL to XFULL. There is also an extra set of 29-1/2'' barrels that comes complete with 28 ga. and .410 bore Briley sub-gauge tubes for skeet targets; making small bores more interesting. The highest point on the vent rib is 2'' above the top barrel center line, and the buttstock comb is likewise adjusted up. The action lockup is one large underlug, and the other features include a single selective trigger, adjustable comb, removable trigger group, non-automatic safety, and selective ejectors. The receiver features descriptive engraving. The full forend and pistol grip buttstock are of presentation grade walnut, and feature checkering at 24 LPI, and a fully adjustable comb and recoil pad. Stock dimensions will vary with the owners dimensions. Gun was built at Perazzi in Italy in 2010. Shotgun, barrels, and shot tubes are all contained in a new Perazzi hard case that includes the main gun, both pairs of barrels, four small bore tubes, choke tubes, lube, tools, and Perazzi paperwork. The condition of the gun and accessories is near excellent, retaining approx. 97% factory blue, with light edge wear to the trigger guard. There is a very fine 3/4'' horizontal crack on bottom of the wrist that runs from the lower tang diagonally into the checkering pattern, which does not appear to affect the integrity of the buttstock. Additionally, there was also a small chip below the upper tang that was repaired. Otherwise, the highly figured wood shows only typical intermittent light handling marks.
