Darne Model R10 Sliding Breech Side-by-Side Shotgun, #SPC795, 20 ga., 25.5'' barrels with solid rib, 2-3/4'' chambers, fixed Cylinder bores, with brass bead front sight. Barrels are blued; trigger guard and sliding breech action are case colored and has double triggers, rotating safety lever and all matching serial numbers. Checkered semi-pistol grip walnut stock with round knob and added solid brown recoil pad. Stock dimensions are 14-7/8'' x 1-5/8'' x 3''. Top of the lever is marked ''Darne''; barrel rib ''MADE IN FRANCE''. Includes a slip on leather handguard. Condition is near excellent, retaining approx. 95% blue; majority of the case colors remain and are vibrant, except for the breech that shows moderate toning and muting. Wood has been refinished with a repair visible at the toe, now with intermittent light handling marks. Checkering detail is primarily crisp, with a few small marks to left side of the forend. Recoil pad is soft and pliable. Action is tight and functions smoothly. Bores are bright throughout. Est.: $1,600-$2,200. (C&R/PPT)
