Custom Ruger No. 1-A Light Sporter Single Shot Rifle, #130-28324, .218 Mashburn Bee cal., 22'' replacement barrel, blue finish; checkered walnut pistol grip stock with an Alexander Henry forend, blue steel grip cap, sling swivel studs, and solid red Ruger recoil pad, providing a 13.75'' LOP. There is no front sight; rear sight has been removed from the factory quarter rib and the dovetail left open. Custom barrel is marked ''218 M. BEE'' on the left side at the breech. Mfg'd 1976. Topped with rings and a Bushnell Banner 4-1x2 scope, with an adjustable objective, finished in gloss black, with lens covers, and a duplex reticle. Scope is near excellent overall, with clear optics. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition as rebarreled, showing intermittent light scratches and handling marks. Barrel is drifting to plum color with age. Stock is excellent, with minor indentations and handling marks, displaying attractive figure in the buttstock. Action functions well and locks up securely. Bore is bright with well-defined rifling.
