Custom Ruger No.1 Single Shot Falling Block Rifle, #131-40089, .257 Weatherby cal., 30'' matte stainless steel barrel, blue finish on the receiver, checkered walnut two-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivels, Bianchi Cobra basket weave pattern leather sling; ending with a red rubber Ruger buttpad, providing a 13.75'' LOP. There is no provision for sights. Barrel has a factory quarter rib. Mfg'd 1978. Rifle is topped with Ruger rings and a Leupold VARI-X III 3.5-10x50mm rifle scope, gloss black finish, and duplex reticle. Scope is near excellent with clear, bright optics. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition as customized. Barrel displays only minor marks. Receiver shows modest edgewear, with dried grease on the breech block. Stock is in near excellent condition, with light scuffs and sharp checkering, displaying attractive fiddle back figure in the buttstock. Action is crisp and locks up securely.
