Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Bolt Action Rifle, #343164, .270 Win. cal., 22'' barrel, blue finish; checkered walnut one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivels, and checkered aluminum buttplate with widow's peak, providing a 13.75'' LOP. Rifle also features a hooded beaded blade front and folding rear sight, receiver is drilled and tapped with the holes left vacant, bolt is etched with matching serial number. Factory markings are clear, with Winchester ''WP'' proofs on left side of the receiver and barrel. Mfg'd 1955. Rifle is in excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 97%-98% toning finish, with intermittent light handling marks. Stock is near excellent, with scattered minor indentations and storage marks, primarily on the left side under the receiver. Action functions smoothly. Bore is excellent with crisp rifling.
