Weatherby Mark V Deluxe Bolt Action Rifle, #H164628, .300 Wby. Mag. cal., 26'' barrel, polished blue finish, no provision for sights. Finely skipline checkered gloss finished French AA walnut one-piece Monte Carlo stock with rosewood forend tip and grip cap, sling swivel studs, ending with a ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 13-3/8'' LOP. Left side of the receiver is marked ''MADE IN JAPAN''. Mfg'd 1983. Rifle is topped with a Redfield two-piece bases, engraved rings, and a Redfield 3-9x40mm scope, finished in gloss black with a duplex reticle, and includes a set of rubber lens covers. Scope is in fine condition with minor marks and bright, clear optics. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 97-98% factory blue, with an area of scratching on top of the barrel showing bare metal. The bottom metal shows light wear with thinning finish and edgewear on the trigger guard. Stock is also near excellent, with attractive figure and mineral streaking in the buttstock, displaying light scrapes and indentations, primarily on the buttstock. Action functions smoothly and the trigger is crisp. Bore is mirror bright, showing little use. Est.: $1,500-$2,000. (Modern/PPT)
