Belgian FN High-Power Safari Grade Sako L461 Bolt Action Rifle, #971Y4, .222 Rem. cal., 22'' light sporter barrel, with blue finish. Finely checkered walnut one-piece pistol grip stock Monte Carlo stock with cheekpiece, sling swivel studs, ending with Browning composition buttplate, providing a 13.75'' LOP. There is no provision for sights. Matching numbered bolt is in the white. Floorplate and trigger guard with scroll engraving. Factory markings are clear, with Belgian proofs and acceptance marks, marked ''MADE IN FINLAND'' on right side of the barrel. Mfg'd 1969. Rifle is topped with Buehler two-piece mounts, rings, and a Nikon Monarch 5.5-16.5x scope, with an adjustable objective, gloss black finish, duplex reticle, and includes a set of plastic lens covers. Scope is in excellent condition with bright, clear optics. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 97%-98% factory finish with light wear at the muzzle and minor handling marks. Stock is in fine condition, with scattered small indentations and nicks consistent with field use, most noticeable on right side of the buttstock and left side below the receiver.
