FN Browning High Power Safari Grade Sako Bolt Action Rifle, #1731Y4, .222 Rem. cal., 22'' barrel, blue finish; finely checkered gloss finished walnut one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivel studs, ending with a Browning composition buttplate, providing a 13-5/8'' LOP. There is no provision for sights. With standard Safari Grade engraving, gold embossed magazine base plate and trigger guard, hinged internal box magazine. Matching numbered bolt is in the white. Assembled in Belgium using a Sako barreled action. Marked ''MADE IN FINLAND'' on the right side of the barrel, with Belgian proofs on the left side of the barrel and receiver. Mfg'd 1964. Topped with Buehler two-piece bases, rings, and a Bushnell Elite 4500 4-16x scope, finished in matte black, with lens covers, and DOA reticle. Scope is excellent with clear, bright optics. Rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining approx. 95%-96% toning finish, with light wear at the muzzle, light scratches and minor marks along the barrel, modest edgewear to the receiver. Factory lettering and proof marks are clear. Stock is very good overall, with numerous indentations and marks consistent with field use. Action is smooth with a crisp trigger.
