Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Bolt Action Rifle, #435700, .30-06 cal., 22'' barrel, blue finish. Checkered walnut one-piece pistol grip high comb stock with sling swivels, and ending with a checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate, providing a 13.75'' LOP. Hooded beaded blade front sight on ramped base, and notched folding rear sight. Receiver is drilled and tapped. Factory markings are clear, with Winchester ''WP'' proofs on left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Bolt with matching serial number. Mfg'd 1958. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 97%-98% toning factory finish, with light wear at the muzzle and edgewear on the floorplate. Stock is in near excellent condition, with light indentations and small mars to the checkering. Action is smooth with a crisp trigger. Bright bore rates excellent, showing little use.
