Pedersoli Model S791 1874 Sharps Sniper Rifle, #SH5196, .45-70 cal., 30'' round barrel with blue finish. Left side of barrel is marked ''PEDERSOLI .45-70''/''MADE IN ITALY'', Right side of barrel is marked ''BEAUCHAMP/RICHMOND, MA''. Receiver, lever, and hammer with a color case hardened finish. Full length straight walnut stock with sling swivels and case colored steel military buttplate and patch box; LOP 13-3/4''. Sights include an un-marked long range Vernier tang sight and a barrel mounted folding semi-buckhorn ladder rear sight; the front sight has been removed leaving an unfilled dovetail. Overall weight is approx. 9lbs. 7oz. Rifle is in excellent overall condition. Barrel retains approx. 99%+ original factory blue. Case colors show minimal wear.
