Shiloh Sharps Montana Roughrider Model 1874 Single Shot Rifle, #B3707, .40-65 cal; 30" half-round/half-octagonal barrel with polished blue finish, and Hartford collar. Top of barrel flat is marked "Shiloh-Sharps Model 1874", "CALIBRE 40", and "40-65''. Receiver, lever, and hammer with a color case hardened finish; left side is marked "SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO. /BIG TIMBER, MT". Pistol grip walnut stock with upgraded wood, checkered lower tang, hard rubber shotgun buttpad, and forend with pewter tip. Both pistol grip and forend feature Shiloh's traditional checkering; LOP: 14-1/4". Sights include a globe front sight (no insert), an un-marked mid-range Vernier tang sight, and a barrel mounted folding semi-buckhorn ladder rear sight. Rifle also features double-set triggers and fire blued screws. Matching numbered barrel. Overall weight is approx. 11 lbs. 8 oz. Rifle is in excellent overall condition. Barrel retains approx. 99%+ original factory blue. Case colors are vibrant and show minimal wear. Wood with only light marks from handling and use.
