Shiloh Sharps Hartford Model 1874 Single Shot Rifle, #B7884, .40-70 SBN (.40 2 1/4) cal; 30" half-round/half-octagonal barrel with blue finish and Hartford collar. Top of barrel flat is marked "Shiloh-Sharps Model 1874", "CALIBRE 40", and "2 1/4''. Receiver, lever, and hammer with a color case hardened finish; left side is marked "SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO. /BIG TIMBER, MT". Straight walnut stock with hard rubber shotgun buttpad and forend with pewter tip; LOP: 14-1/2". Sights include a spirit level front sight and an un-marked mid-range Vernier tang sight. Rifle also features double-set triggers and fire blued screws. Matching numbered barrel. Overall weight is approx. 11 lbs. 9 oz. Rifle is in excellent overall condition. Barrel retains approx. 99%+ original factory blue. Case colors are vibrant and show minimal wear.
