Shiloh Sharps No. 1 Sporting Model 1874 Single Shot Rifle, #0649B, .44-77 (.44 2 1/4) cal; 30" half-round/half-octagonal barrel with polished blue finish. Top of barrel flat is marked "Shiloh-Sharps Model 1874", "CALIBRE 44", and "2 1/4''. Receiver, lever, and hammer with a color case hardened finish; left side is marked "SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO. /BIG TIMBER, MT". Pistol grip walnut stock with upgraded wood, check rest with shadow line, checkered lower tang, checkered case colored metal buttplate, and forend with pewter tip; LOP: 14-1/4". Sights include a spirit level front sight (no insert), an un-marked long range Vernier tang sight with Hadley eye cup, and a barrel mounted folding semi-buckhorn ladder rear sight. Rifle also features double-set triggers and fire blued screws. Matching numbered barrel. Overall weight is approx. 11 lbs. 8 oz. Rifle is in excellent overall condition. Barrel retains approx. 99%+ original factory blue. Case colors are vibrant and show minimal wear. Wood with only light marks from handling and use.
