Winchester John Wayne Commemorative Model 94 Lever Action Carbine with Box, Leather Scabbard, and Display Rack, #JW37370, .32-40 Win. cal., 18.5'' round barrel, blue finish, pewter frame and large loop lever, blued saddle ring, checkered straight grip walnut stock with inlaid John Wayne medallion. Nicely engraved frame lists John Wayne movies as borders to both sides, stagecoach and cowboy scenes, with facsimile of John Wayne's signature on the upper tang. Right side of the barrel is marked in white lettering ''JOHN WAYNE COMMEMORATIVE''. In original Styrofoam box with matching end label, polychrome John Wayne sleeve, JW hang tag, leather saddle ring thong, commemorative instruction manual, and other misc. factory literature. Box is in fine condition, showing light storage type wear to the polychrome sleeve. Also included is the original leather Winchester John Wayne carbine scabbard in original shipping box and original wall display rack that is still sealed in the original shipping box. Box is addressed to Sam Fowler's Stockade in Westminster, CA. Scabbard is in excellent condition. Rifle is in like new overall condition and appears unfired, with only a few very minor handling marks. Wood is nicely figured with sharp checkering. Bore is mirror bright. Est.: $2,000-$2,500.
