Marlin Model 1894 Century Limited Lever Action Rifle, #94CL1436, .44-40 cal., 24'' ''JM'' marked tapered octagon barrel, blue and color case hardened finish. Receiver is magnificently engraved by Giovanelli with vignettes of the Marlin cowboy on horseback on the right side and Whitetail buck on the left side, displaying outstanding foliate scroll engraving. Finely checkered deluxe walnut straight grip stock and forend, with gold plated smooth crescent buttplate, providing a 13.5'' LOP. Marbles factory dovetailed brass tipped blade and buckhorn rear sight. Marked ''MARLIN SAFETY'' on top of the receiver. Includes factory cardboard box with matching end label, instruction manual, and warranty card. Only 2,500 Mfg'd in 1994. Rifle is as new in the factory box and appears unfired. Receiver, bolt, and lever show vivid color case hardened finish. Stock is in excellent condition, with sharp checkering detail and attractive figure. Action is crisp with a mirror bright bore.
