Marlin Model 1894CB Cowboy Limited Lever Action Rifle, #02007293, .44-40 cal., 24'' octagonal ''JM'' marked barrel, dark blue finish, oil-finished straight grip walnut stock and forend with diamond center checkering detail, black plastic Marlin buttplate, dovetailed blade front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight with elevator, and cross-bolt safety. Portion of the lever has been wrapped in leather. Top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for a scope mount. Left side of the barrel is marked ''1894 COWBOY LIMITED''. Mfg'd 1998. Condition is excellent, retaining approx. 98% factory blue, showing intermittent light marks from handling and use, most notable are along the matte finish on top of the receiver. Wood with sharp checkering detail and very few, minor handling marks. Action is crisp and operates smoothly. Bore rates excellent and is bright with defined rifling. Est.: $900-$1,200. (Modern/PPT)
