Marlin Model 336CB Cowboy Lever Action Rifle, #01029537, .38-55 cal., 24'' ''JM'' marked octagonal barrel, blue finish, straight grip walnut stock and forend with diamond center point checkering detail, black plastic Marlin buttplate, replacement target globe front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight with elevator, and cross-bolt safety. An adjustable Davide Pedersoli Creedmoor sight has been added to the upper tang. Top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for a scope mount. Mfg'd 1999. Condition is excellent, retaining approx. 98+% factory blue, with intermittent light marks from handling and use, including a few light blemishes to the right side near the loading gate. Wood has only a few small marks from handling and use, the most noticeable is at the toe; checkering detail is sharp. Action is crisp and operates smoothly.
