1st Year Colt 3rd Generation Single Action Army Revolver, #81784SA, .45 Colt cal., 7.5'' barrel, blue and color case hardened finish, smooth walnut grips with gold Colt medallions, blade front sight and fixed square-notch rear sight. Includes Colt factory woodgrain pattern box with two-piece Styrofoam insert. Mfg'd 1976. Revolver is in excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 98% factory blue with a little light scratching and turn line to the cylinder, one minor nick to the ejector rod housing. Frame shows a little muting to the case colors, which are primarily vibrant. Sides of the hammer are polished bright. Factory markings are clear. Grips are in excellent condition, appearing near new. Action cycles smoothly and locks up securely. Bore is mirror bright with excellent rifling. Box shows age and wear, with tears and tatters primarily along the edges and to the end flaps.
