Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine, #884589, .30 WCF cal., 20'' round barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut straight grip stock and forend, smooth steel crescent buttplate, pinned blade front and ladder style rear sight, and saddle ring with leather tie. Factory markings are clear, with Winchester ''WP'' proofs on the barrel and receiver. Mfg'd 1919. Carbine is in fine overall condition, retaining 88%-90% thinning factory finish, with scratches and scuffs along the barrel and magazine, light surface erosion, and high point edgewear on the receiver. There is typical wear around the saddle ring. Stock is very good, with scattered indentations and scratches, worse on the left side of the buttstock. Wood to metal fit is very good. Action functions well and locks up securely. Bore is good with scattered light to moderate erosion and defined rifling. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)
