Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army Revolver, #213607, .32 W.C.F. cal., 5.5'' barrel, mottled blue finish with polished hammer, checkered black hard rubber two-piece Colt grips, blade front and fixed ''V''-notch rear sight. Barrel address is marked in one-line ''COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO HARTFORD CT, U.S.A.''. With two-line patent dates and Rampant Colt on lower left side of the frame. Visible numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap are matching. Inside of the loading gate with assembly number ''177''. Mfg'd 1901. Condition is overall fair, displaying approx. 20% muted blue finish, with the balance gone to a mixture of dark and gray patina; traces of silvered case colors on the frame. There are several small marks on the left side of the barrel that look like tool marks. Factory markings are clear. Grips are worn but complete, showing old hand checkering to the rear bottom of the left grip panel, and their overall condition are consistent with the rest of the revolver. Action is crisp with all four clicks. Bore is very good with defined rifling, and a few spots of minor erosion near the muzzle. Est.: $1,400- $1,800. (C&R/PPT)
