^Lot 95 Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army Revolver

Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army Revolver, #272801, .45 Colt cal., 4.75'' barrel, blued finish, checkered black hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt logo at the top of each panel. Standard sights include a blade front and fixed ''V''-notch rear. Top of the barrel with two-line address; left side ''.45 Colt''. Lower left side of the frame with two-line patent dates and ''(Rampant Colt)''. Inside of the loading gate is marked with assembly number ''3120''. Visible matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Mfg'd 1905. Condition of this revolver is good, displaying approx. 10%-15% blue, mainly in the protected areas and underside of the barrel. Balance gone to a smooth, lightly cleaned gray/light brown patina. Factory markings are legible with the Rampant Colt on the frame being light but visible. Grips are good, showing moderate age, wear, and smoothing of the checkering. Action is crisp and cycles very smoothly (likely tuned), with all four clicks. Bore is very good with defined rifling. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (C&R/PPT)
