Remington New Model No. 4 Spur Trigger Revolver, #NVSN, .38 Short CF cal., 2.5'' round barrel, nickel finish, two-piece black checkered hard rubber grips, fixed brass blade front sight, and small notched rear sight. There is no visible barrel address. Approx. 23,000 Mfg'd 1877-88. Revolver is in very good condition overall, retaining approx. 50%-60% of its original nickel finish, with some scattered spots of mild darkening and pitting, particularly in the cylinder flutes. Grips are near fine, showing typical light age and wear. Action is strong but also intermittently stiff and hard to cock.
