Colt 1st Generation Bisley Model Single Action Revolver, #271810, .38-40 cal., 7.5'' barrel, no finish, checkered two-piece hard rubber Colt grips, blade front and fixed ''V''-notch rear sight. Matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Mfg'd 1905. Revolver is in overall good condition, displaying an even gray patina to the metal, with scattered spots of pitting, confined mostly to the left side of the barrel and lower frame. Grips are near good, showing signs of moderate age and handling wear to the checkering. Factory markings are clearly defined, except for the caliber on left side of the barrel. Action is crisp with all four clicks. Rifling is good but bore has scattered erosion. Est.: $900-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)
