^Lot 63 Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army Revolver

Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army Revolver, #207691, .45 Colt cal., 4.75'' barrel, blued and case hardened finish, checkered black hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt logo at the top of each panel. Standard sights include a blade front and fixed ''V''-notch rear. Top of the barrel with two-line address; left side ''.45 Colt''. Lower left side of the frame with two-line patent dates and ''(Rampant Colt)''. Inside of the loading gate is marked with assembly number ''911''. Visible matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Mfg'd 1901. Condition of this revolver is good as un-cleaned, with a mostly dark patina throughout. Factory markings are legible. Grips are very good, showing expected signs of age and handling wear, although both are slightly undersized at the butt. Action may have been tuned and is smooth with all four clicks. Bore is good with scattered light erosion and clear rifling. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (C&R/PPT)
