^Lot 59 Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle

Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle, #875529, .32-40 cal., 26'' round barrel, button mag, blued finish, straight grip stock and forend, crescent steel buttplate, dovetailed brass blade front sight, and buckhorn rear sight with elevator. Standard Winchester proofs located on top of the barrel and receiver. Mfg'd 1918. Rifle is in fine condition, retaining approx. 85% blue, with flaking and mild erosion on the receiver. Buttplate is gray/brown. Wood with an added coat of varnish applied over intermittent light handling marks. There is a small piece missing from the upper left corner of the wrist, adjacent the receiver; right side with a fine crack in the same location. Markings are clear. Action is crisp.
