Antique James Reid Model ''My Friend'' Knuckle Duster Five-Shot Revolver, #8032, .32 RF caliber, 1.75'' iron cylinder, with scroll engraved brass frame; no sights. There are matching numbers located on the frame and cylinder retaining pin. Top left edge of the frame is marked ''MY FRIEND PATD. DEC. 26, 1865''. Approx. 3,100 manufactured circa 1870-1882. Condition is near fine overall. No finish on the cylinder, which has a few spots of moderate erosion. Brass frame with a nice even patina and defined engraving. Factory markings are clear. Action functions well. Bores are good. Est.: $1,200-$1,600. (Antique)
