The overall condition is good, retaining small amounts of blue finish is some of the protected areas, with the balance gone to a smooth gray/brown patina. There is some old knackering on the lower left side of the frame around the patent dates and ''U.S.'', making them partially illegible. Other factory lettering and inspection marks are clear. Grips have been lightly sanded with an old coat of added finish, showing scattered mars at the bottom of each grip panel, and moderate shrinkage. Action is crisp and cycles smoothly with all four clicks. Bore is very good with defined rifling. Also included is a Nov. 3, 1983 letter from Ron Ogan providing his analysis of the revolver. Est.: $4,000-$6,000. (Antique)
