Manhattan Firearms Mfg. Co. Series II Navy Percussion Revolver, #7431, .36 cal., 4'' octagon barrel, originally with blued finish, brass trigger guard and backstrap, hardwood grips, brass blade front sight, and ''V''-notch rear sight. Cylinder with standard roll engraving for this model. Barrel address is marked in one-line ''MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS MFG. CO. NEW YORK''. Matching visible numbers, including the cylinder and wedge. Mfg'd circa 1860-1861. Overall condition is good, metal with an overall gray patina, displaying scattered very light pinprick pitting. Brass parts show thinning in the handling areas; balance moderate patina. Grips are fine, with lovely grain patterns, scattered light handling marks; majority of their rich oil finish remains. Barrel address is clear. Cylinder scene remains approx. 70% visible. Action is crisp and cycles smoothly. Bore is good with visible rifling and a few spots of scattered minor erosion.
