Manhattan Firearms Mfg. Co. Series II Navy Percussion Revolver, #6290, .36 cal., 5'' octagon barrel, blued finish with brass trigger guard and backstrap, hardwood grips, brass blade front sight, and ''V''-notch rear sight. Cylinder with standard roll engraving for this model. Barrel address is marked in one-line ''MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS MFG. CO. NEW YORK''. Matching visible numbers on the main components, including the cylinder; wedge is numbered but does not match. Mfg'd circa 1860-1861. Overall condition is good. Loading lever retains majority of its blue finish; balance is mostly gray, with areas of mild patina, pinprick pitting, and small surface blemishes. Brass shows moderate toning from age. Barrel address is clear. Cylinder scene remains approx. 70% visible. Grips are fine, with beautiful grain patterns, and scattered moderate handling marks, showing minor shrinkage. Action is crisp and cycles smoothly. Bore is fair with visible rifling and scattered erosion. Est.: $700-$900. (Antique)
